Kara Linder Senior Project
On Saturday March 20th, 2010, Washington Ambulance member Kara Linder conducted a Mass Casualty Incident Drill for her Senior Project. Over 75 people from various Ambulance Corps, Fire Departments, and Life Star participated. The scenario was an accident, truck versus a school bus with children. The group practiced triage, extrication, communication, and organizational skills. By all accounts, it was very successful with great feedback and debriefing.
"Kara did a great job," praised Fire chief Mark Showalter, "and it was good training for us."
